The next day Jon finally got his wish. I told him for his birthday we could get a big screen TV. He has wanted one for the past year or so. So on Saturday we shopped around and came home with this one. Now he is very happy. Happy Birthday babe!

Happy Birthday Jon!!
Jon's birthday was on Friday. I cannot believe he is 27 years old!! We had a few friends over to celebrate. One of Jon's friends came dressed as him. Even shaved a goatee like him. It was pretty funny. We played games and had a lot of laughs.

Christmas with The Bells...
Mom and Dad Bell came to celebrate Christmas with us this year and so did Jon's sisters. We did a lot of eating and a lot of present opening and game playing.

Our pillow gift certificate...thanks Malissa!
This is one of the only times that they were both laying down.
Aren't the holidays great?? I love hanging out with family. Thanks for coming everyone!

Shooting
The day after Thanksgiving, Jon, my parents, and I went out to my camp and found a nice little place to practice some shooting. We did this before this past summer with them and Jon really liked it. So we set up some cans on a log and practiced our aim. My aim was not so great....

I would have to say my dad has probably had a lot more practice, and he probably hit the most cans, but Jon was not far behind.

Even though we were shooting, we didn't want to get shot at by any hunters so we all sported a bright orange bandana
It was pretty cold so my mom and I wore two warm jackets she had down at camp...both had fur hoods
Notice how I was the only one posing for the picture
This is one of the cans that Jon hit. It is so crazy to see the cans afterwards with the bullet holes in them.
Then we went home to have some burgers on the grill. Then we had a celebration. An early Christmas for Jon and I since we will be spending Christmas at our house with Jon's parents and Brittany's birthday which is next weekend. Thanks mom and dad!
Happy Thanksgiving!
So I have to admit that when my mom told me that we were dressing up as Pilgrims and Indians for Thanksgiving this year, I was not really feeling the idea. Then when my dad told me we didn't HAVE to, I was thinking I would skip the costume making. Luckily I know my family and I knew that Jon and I would be the ONLY ones not dressed up and we would look like the party poopers. So we made the best Indian headdresses we could and showed up with our feathers on.

Here are our costume making abilities....pretty good huh??
The costumes ended up making for great family pictures and it ended up being really funny to see everyone in their costumes. For a full family picture go to http://www.caboymegirl.blogspot.com/ (sorry it wouldn't let me make a link there) Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Hunting Season
Oh, how I despise hunting season....

Random people park their cars up and down our street. This one happened to be parked in the middle of the lot across from our house!! I was standing outside our front door when I took this.
Rza....in his flying cape. He has to be all geared up to go out this time of year so he does not get mistaken for a deer.
Not to mention, the gunshots we hear in the mornings, usually on the weekends. These are just a few of the reasons why I love hunting season.
